By & Havn is responsible for some of Copenhagen’s largest urban development and harbour projects, spanning Nordhavn, Ørestad, Copenhagen Harbour and a range of public and operational activities.

As the organisation expanded across multiple initiatives and audiences, the need emerged for a more coherent identity capable of connecting a growing portfolio of brands and communication platforms.

The challenge was to create clarity across a complex organisational landscape while preserving the distinct characteristics of each initiative.

Unifying Complex Structures

LOOP Associates developed a comprehensive identity framework connecting By & Havn, Nordhavn, Ørestad and CPH Port through a shared strategic and visual foundation.

The system establishes clear relationships between entities while allowing each to maintain its own recognisable position and purpose.

Geography, infrastructure and urban development informed both the visual language and overall structure of the identity.
