Communicating Sustainable Leadership
At Expo Zaragoza, centred around the theme of water and sustainable development, Denmark set out to demonstrate its position as a global leader in sustainable technology.
The challenge was to communicate complex environmental solutions through an engaging and accessible visitor experience.
LOOP Associates was commissioned to develop the concept, identity and communication framework for the Danish Pavilion.

Circles in Water
The pavilion concept, Circles in Water, was developed as a unifying idea across architecture, communication and exhibition design.
A visual identity, website and exhibition graphics were created to support a coherent visitor experience before, during and after the exhibition.
Together, these elements transformed complex sustainability themes into a clear and engaging visitor experience.

Designed for Engagement
The exhibition was structured around a series of immersive environments exploring water, wind, light, sound and ice.
Interactive experiences transformed technical and environmental topics into tangible encounters, making complex ideas accessible to an international audience.
The visual identity provided consistency across physical, digital and spatial touchpoints throughout the pavilion.

International Recognition
The Danish Pavilion welcomed more than 900,000 visitors during the exhibition.
Recognised for excellence in architecture, exhibition design and visual communication, the project received multiple international awards, including a silver medal at Expo Zaragoza and a Creative Circle Silver Award for Corporate Identity.
Developed in collaboration with 2+1 Idébureau and Spektrum Arkitekter.
