Crafting a distinctive release
Isle of Fionia – Cask No. 1 marks the debut of an organic single malt whisky from Nyborg Distillery.
Limited to 362 numbered bottles, the release is defined by craftsmanship, patience and attention to detail.
The challenge was to translate these qualities into a bottle design that reflects the character of the product.

Translating craft into form
The design builds on raw and tactile elements.
Wax seals, ink stamps and handwritten numbering are integrated into the expression, ensuring each bottle carries a sense of individuality.
A contemporary label design reinterprets traditional whisky aesthetics, creating a clear and recognisable identity.

Designed as an object
The bottle is conceived as a physical expression of the product.
A split label creates a distinct visual structure, while graphic elements reference the distillery’s location on Funen.
Materiality, detail and composition work together to reinforce authenticity and origin.

Recognition through design
The whisky received the Organic Gold Award for both quality and design.
An acknowledgment of a product where craftsmanship and visual expression are closely aligned.
A limited release establishing a strong and differentiated presence from the outset.
