A New Destination at the Airport

As part of a strategy to position Zurich Airport as a leading destination for business, culture, and lifestyle, THE CIRCLE establishes a new framework connecting experience, wayfinding, and communication.

In collaboration with Arthesia and the architectural team, a strategic foundation aligns identity and spatial navigation across the entire complex.

A unified system designed to guide visitors seamlessly to and through the site.

One Continuous Structure

The identity is structured as a scalable system integrated into the architecture.

A continuous structural element connects wayfinding, experience, and communication into one unified framework.

Inspired by Swiss landscapes and the narrow streets of old Zurich, the system establishes orientation while functioning as the primary lighting structure across the complex.

Designed for Movement

The system supports intuitive navigation across a large and complex environment.

From arrival to internal circulation, the identity ensures clarity across all touchpoints.

Developed in close collaboration with Riken Yamamoto and project partners, identity elements are integrated directly into the building and its use.

Clarity at Urban Scale

A coherent identity system enabling clear navigation and a unified experience across THE CIRCLE.

A spatial framework supporting the development as a connected and recognisable urban destination.
